Holiday display

During the holidays, Krohn Conservatory is transformed into a glowing winter wonderland. The holiday display features plants and models of historic Cincinnati buildings and landmarks. It’s one of Cincinnati’s most popular and beloved institutions.

The Krohn Conservatory holiday show features models of Cincinnati’s historic buildings and landmarks, including Music Hall, Union Terminal, and Findlay Market. You’ll also find miniature trains and a live Nativity scene.

For nearly 30 years, Applied Imagination has been creating a Krohn Conservatory holiday display. The company is made up of landscape designers, creative artists, and botanical architects. These artists use natural materials and plant products to create their displays. Hundreds of hours of work go into the creation of each exhibit.

One of the most spectacular displays is the Music Hall model. Applied Imagination created this model of the Music Hall from the original blueprint. It’s accompanied by thousands of lights.

Prismatica kaleidoscope

Prismatica is an interactive light installation starring a bunch of giant spinning prisms. You can manipulate these prisms to create a floral kaleidoscope. The show is currently on display at the Krohn Conservatory in Cincinnati, Ohio. Prismatica is a temporary art installation created by RAW Design, a Toronto-based architectural firm.

The Science of Color featuring Prismatica is an interactive light show that transforms the Krohn Conservatory into a kaleidoscope. It features large rotatable prisms that cast color in the main showroom. They are also a good source of amusement for the kids. There are 12 prisms scattered throughout the Krohn Conservatory. Each prism contains a projector. You can even spin them to see how the rainbow colored light reacts.

One-day admission

Among the many Cincinnati attractions, Krohn Conservatory stands out for its sheer magnitude of grandeur. Located on Eden Park Drive, you’ll find an exhibit that focuses on botanicals and wildlife, not to mention a host of free activities for the kiddos. If you’re looking for the best day out of the house, look no further than Krohn! It’s also home to the city’s largest pond, where you can find a slew of migratory birds, the oddball sexmates, and the occasional rogues gallery. It’s not hard to see why the park draws an average of 57,000 visitors a year. In fact, it’s been rated the number one destination in the city for two years running.

Despite the park’s slew of perks, it can still get a little crowded on a sunny afternoon. So, it’s best to get there early.

Annual membership

Originally known as the Eden Park Greenhouse, the Krohn Conservatory in Eden Park is an indoor botanical oasis. It is home to more than 3,500 species of plants. It features permanent and seasonal displays of orchids, tropical plants, bonsai, and more.

The Krohn Conservatory was built in 1933 in the art deco style. It is located on the grounds of Eden Park, which is known for its beauty and Ohio River Valley view.

The Conservatory has been known as one of the largest public greenhouses in the United States. Its collections feature plants from all over the world. The Conservatory offers a variety of volunteer opportunities and is open year-round.

During the spring, Krohn Conservatory hosts the annual Butterfly Show. This exhibit features thousands of butterflies. The Conservatory offers guided tours and self-guided tours. Typically, the exhibit runs from mid-March to mid-June. Each year, the Conservatory focuses on a different international theme.

Restaurants near the conservatory

Located in Eden Park, the Krohn Conservatory is an Art Deco style greenhouse that houses more than three thousand plant species. It is one of the most visited attractions in Cincinnati. It is a perfect place for a picnic or to get a breath of fresh air.

The Krohn Conservatory is also home to a special exhibition called the Celestial Holiday. Visitors can take a stroll through the main room which features a waterfall, goldfish stream, palm trees, and rubber trees. There are also some smaller rooms with diverse plant selections.

In addition to the botanical garden, the Conservatory is also home to an event calendar. There are a number of special exhibitions throughout the year. There are also a number of membership options.
