• Some companies sell packages that include 4 to 8 layers. This is overkill and actually weakens the protection. Ceramics take about 2 hrs. to apply (not including the prep work, it can take 2 days to properly prep a vehicle) & have a curing time of about 2 hrs. This means you have to wait 2 hrs. before you can add another layer & if you wait much longer than that, the ceramic will completely cure making it impossible for the remaining coats to adhere properly.
